The so much awaited DVD-Box of Jean-Claude
Schlim’s movie « House of Boys » is on sale. This exceptional movie was elected « Best Luxemburgish Feature Film 2009 » and is haloed of the « Public Award of Belgium Film Festival Gay and
Lesbian 2011» ,the « Public Award of Rio Gay Film Festival 2011» and of the «Public award of the Durban Gay and Lesbian Film Festival 2011».
The
box contains 2 DVD and a booklet with new photographs of the film:
The
first one includes the theatrical version of the film, a « Making of », interviews of the actors, the director and the
director of the photography, as well as the English trailer.
The
second includes the « director's
cut », the extended version of « House of Boys ». The two versions of the film are in English (5.1.), the theatre
version is also in German (5.1.) and in French (2.0.) with subtitling in the same
languages.
It is distributed in all great shopping malls of the country for 24,90 euros.
After
a long and painful illness Glenio Bonder died on November 10th 2011, at the
age of 55 years. Delux Productions and the entire team who worked with Glenio are appalled by this sad event.
Glenio
Bonder was a graduate of the National Diplomatic
School Itamary (Brazil) and had doctorate from Tokyo University ICU(Japan) and
from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro(Brazil).
First a diplomat, he has been the Brazilian
representative at the United Nations.
Glenio Bonder has had a career as a still
photographer in fashion and advertising and has directed more than a hundred
commercials. He directed a documentary
on Albert Cohen for French television, which had allowed him to adapt
his masterpiece "Belle du Seigneur".
We
will hold in memory this so talented and deeply human friend.
